Sales Director EMEA
As a Sales Director EMEA you will be responsible for generating new business sales into Enterprise clients across the EMEA region. This is an individual contributor role with responsibility for a specific vertical: Telco.
Our client is looking for a Sales Director who wants to work in one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in Europe. You will be part of the Sales team and will be based in Amsterdam working on the EMEA region.
Responsibilities of a Sales Director:
Create value and build relationships with decision makers across multiple departments (Service, Digital, Marketing, Customer Experience, IT and Procurement);
Close off the targeted new annual recurring revenue by managing the complete sales cycle and leverage internal resources to get the deal done;
Work closely with a dedicated Sales Development Representative who will arrange introduction calls and meetings for you in targeted prospects;
In addition, you will also be expected to generate, cultivate and motivate your own business contact network to help accelerate our growth in region;
You will report to the VP Sales.
Minimum of 7 years’ sales experience working in a dynamic, high intensity sales environment, where success is highly regarded and rewarded;
Of those 7 years, a minimum of five years’ sales experience working for a SaaS and/or Enterprise software company;
Track record of working on longer term sales cycles and annualized deal sizes upwards of 100k;
Experience in Telco vertical is preferred but not a must;
You are interested in working in a startup environment, have a huge sense of ownership and can work autonomously;
Track record of being in the top 10% sales manager of the company;
A good understanding of the Challenger Sales methodology and SPIN selling is preferred;
A high degree of business acumen;
Language: Dutch and English;
You are willing to travel to the EMEA region for business.
