Job description

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for cultivating positive, long-term new client relationships. Position focuses on finding and closing new customers in the Benelux, UK and Nordic region, client satisfaction, and retention. The AE monitors transaction utilization and works consultatively with clients to: Identify and cultivate new opportunities; Increase utilization; Ensure client satisfaction. Major Job Functions:
Business Development — Be driven with a hunter mentality to identify and close new business opportunities within existing accounts and new logo prospects. Utilize your network, social media, and industry forums to form new relationships and uncover opportunities. Drive opportunities to close.
Consultative Selling — Earn the role of trusted advisor by demonstrating a thorough understanding of our client's analytic solutions and matching these solutions to cutomer needs and critical industry challenges. Provide guidance to internal teams that work with you to develop and implement effective solutions. Demonstrate familiarity and comfort with executive selling situations. Be comfortable with ROI based sales.
Sales Planning — Responsible for thoroughly understanding business challenges facing the companies in your territory. Contribute and participate in sales and account planning efforts with team members who work cooperatively with you in your territory. Collaborate with internal marketing, analytics and technology teams to communicate requirements and opportunities for the industry and targeted accounts.
Sales Growth — Have a personal accountability for closing new revenue opportunities and meeting revenue expectations. Be responsible for providing accurate forecasting and financial information as required. Effectively coordinate internal resources to support solution design, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiations, and implementation of solutions. Document your activity.

Job requirements

Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years software sales experience.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Customer service orientation.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of supply chain and SAP ECC / APO / S4 understanding is an advantage.
BI or Analytics knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in selling solutions and consultancy in markets like Discrete Manufacturing, F&B, Chemicals, Electronics, Hight Tech is an advantage.
Proven strategic-level sales and business development background.
Ability to drive personal results in a collaborative, team selling environment.
Experience in managing senior level relationships.
