Account Manager SAP & ERP

Job description

Large SAP landscapes, clients who have stayed on board for ten to twenty years, and an organisation growing just as fast as the market it operates in — that's the playing field you'll step into as Account Manager SAP & ERP Solutions. You'll join the team that sells SAP and ERP services to large and mid-sized organisations that run SAP as their core system.
You start with a warm, existing client portfolio — but this is not a farming role. You'll get the room (and the expectation) to open new doors with those clients yourself: new budget holders, new challenges, new assignments. The ideal client profile? Organisations that have completed their S/4HANA migration and are now ready for the next step: actually extracting value from their SAP environment. Our client is dominant in the utilities market (energy and water) and also broadly active in retail, finance, and manufacturing.
In this role you think beyond hours. Our client is transforming from a capacity provider into a partner that takes ownership of direction and results — in the form of projects and SOWs. That calls for a different client approach than traditional staffing. You maintain the relationship with focus accounts, build a healthy pipeline, and make sure our client's specialists work on challenging assignments at a healthy margin.

Job requirements

What do we ask of you?
● Demonstrable commercial experience within IT.
● A hunting mindset: you don't wait for inbound requests, and you don't spend your time endlessly searching portals for candidates to place — you actively seek out new opportunities at existing clients.
● Ownership: you're in charge of your own funnel and results, you translate plans into action, and you take initiative when something hasn't been arranged yet.
● The ability to navigate complex client landscapes and create client value.
● Excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
Experience within ERP or adjacent domains such as CRM and SCM is a plus, but not a hard requirement. What matters more is that you have the eagerness to make the SAP & ERP domain your own, and that you bring enough sales experience to grow into it quickly. Knowledge of SOWs and value-based contract models counts as an additional plus.
