Major Accounts Manager Security

Job description

The Major Accounts Manager will be responsible for developing profitable new business sales within the Enterprise segment of the business with a specific focus on a list of named enterprise accounts. The objectives of this role is to create and maintain a high quality working relationship with a broad range of contacts at the named accounts.
The MAM is responsible for understanding customer strategies to sell security solutions - (hybrid) cloud security, network security, user protection and detection & response - to enable and support them.

The Role
• Create new opportunities at named enterprise accounts and focus on replacing competitive products.
• Work closely with the necessary Systems Integrators, resellers and other partners to enable strategic development of your defined accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date pipeline and forecast reporting systems.
• Attendance and presentation at relevant sales exhibitions, EBR’s and events.

Job requirements

• Proven and successful experience in a senior sales position within a high tech, enterprise focused sales environment.
• A proven track record of success.
• A strong background in IT based selling new business into large enterprise clients.
• Comfortable engaging and leading virtual sales teams.
• Extensive experience in opening up large enterprise accounts and building/maintaining strong multi-level relationships at large enterprise accounts.
• The ability to use all available resources within the team and the channel to optimize the working relationships with customers.
• The ability to motivate customers and channel partners to position our client as a preferred and trusted business partner.
• Experience in complex, multi-year and (ideally) financed enterprise software creation.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Excellent at presentation and communication up to C level.
• Excellent at influencing, negotiation and relationship building.
• Flexible in mind-set in a changing environment.
• A strong new business mentality to be successful in a highly competitive business.
• A creative, professional and customer focused sales manager.
