Sales Specialist Security & Resiliency
As a Sales Specialist you are a Security and Resiliency subject matter expert from a sales perspective who drives complex sales cycles in the field of Hybrid recovery, Cyber Resiliency and cybersecurity strategies.
Responsible for the Value Proposition and execution of the Sales Strategy.
Collect, validate and vet with clients the deal-specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Develop solution and pricing strategy needed to meet client requirements, provide business value, and differentiate from its competitors.
Drive pricing and proposal development including.
Lead negotiations with clients as part of a deal team or as lead in single-practice engagements.
Apply technical and competitive insights to optimize sales opportunities.
Perform/execute client-facing meetings incl RFP oral presentations and conduct hands-on solution demonstrations.
Apply and continuously develop comprehensive knowledge of Security & Resiliency go-to-market strategy.
Develop and maintain client relationships as trusted advisor and thought leader.
Drive a disciplined process of pipeline development and progression across white space and existing accounts in an effort to ensure enough to meet or exceed sales plan.
You need to demonstrate the following professional expertise:
Experienced IT services seller, appropriate and articulate taking care of clients at the most senior levels;
At least 5 years working experience in IT sales field;
Knowledge of IT Security and Resiliency such as Backup and Restore, Replication technologies, Cyber resiliency solutions, Cyber security, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, Containers and Hyperscale’s technology;
A track record in negotiating and closing services engagements (through compelling value propositions);
A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals;
Ability to take care of and lead highly complex situations and environments;
Ability to story tell and simplify the solution context and outcomes;
Ability to collaborate and bring together a unified approach with multiple stakeholders to deliver outcomes;
Ability to sell in a virtual environment, typically face-to-face, but during COVID you have to execute meetings effectively from home via video tooling;
Personal drive, tenacity and energy and results oriented;
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations - comfortable in presenting to both small and large audiences;
Excellent written and oral communication skills - in Dutch and English language is important.
