Account Executive Digital solutions

Job description
You drive growth by building and maintaining sustainable client relationships, from the first contact through to long-term partnerships. Most opportunities arise from marketing activities or through an external call agency. You assess which leads have real potential, develop proposals, and translate complex challenges into clear, valuable digital solutions, often leveraging low-code technology with the OutSystems platform as a foundation.
In your day-to-day work, you engage with new leads generated through marketing efforts and partner networks, speak with prospects and clients, and collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover from opportunity to project. You also work alongside Marketing and the Sales Director to initiate new initiatives, from webinars to partner campaigns, designed to reach the right target audiences. You operate across different sales cycles, ranging from longer trajectories with lead times of six to nine months to shorter cycles focused on selling Expert Services or Consultancy offerings. It is precisely this variety that energizes you.
This role combines strategy and execution: understanding client needs, articulating value propositions clearly, and developing tailored proposals that convert interest into lasting relationships. You do not need to know everything from day one; initiative and curiosity matter more. You will have the freedom to explore new ways of reaching target audiences, from digital campaigns to events, and you will grow within a team that values collaboration over hierarchy.
Job requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or client-facing role, preferably within tech, SaaS, or digital consultancy.
- A strong ability to identify opportunities and convert initial interest into concrete conversations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and link business value to technological solutions.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with the drive to explore new ideas.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
