Account Executive Software Development

Job description

You’ll develop new customers, keep current customers happy and help grow our client in the Dutch market.
By actively and enthusiastically applying consultative selling you are able to start up creative sales processes and to propagate and develop 'high end' Software development propositions.
Actively and independently pursue and develop new opportunities at new and existing customers.
Qualify opportunities, write quotations, build relationships, define projects, develop marketing initiatives, spot cross-selling opportunities, negotiate and sell deals.
Smoothly and efficiently manage projects to create the right product, "done right".
Provide collaboration and solution-based management while smoothly navigating client politics and interests.
Manage customer expectations, the organization, and project staffing levels.
You’ll report to the Sales Director, and you’ll work with many different roles across the organisation, from CEO to CTO and Lead Developers / Architects.

Job requirements

You have a real and inherent passion for Software development and the ambition to make a valuable and active contribution to the rapid expansion of our client.
You are experienced in selling application services.
To be a full discussion partner for the customer, you preferably also have a background as Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Software Tester, ...
You like developing and managing customer relationships at different levels (incl. C-level).
You have a consultative selling approach.
You have the long-term interest of the customer above everything else.
You are transparent, results-driven and pro-active.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
